Very informative man. I appreciate it. It’s crazy how shops consistently overpressure tires. Right now I’m running 38 psi (told them 36 but ended up being 38) and I want to lower. I’ll do the chalk test.

Makes sense. Usually -2* will give you cold #’s.
I’m running 28/26 cold (30/28 warm) and have about + 200lbs up front and +300 in the rear.

Did some back road exploring out here in Central Oregon on this quality Sunday afternoon. A lil bit of mud, snow and rocks. My Wildpeaks never let me down!

    Thank you for the post!

I can't speak towards availability for your local store's region, but DTD has the P285/70R-17 in-stock and should have more P265/70R-17's within the next few days.

I just ordered 265/75/16 Wildpeak AT3Ws from the great deal from Discount Direct on eBay, 4 for $460! Any long term use feedback on these tires? Road noise, grip, lower MPG, etc?

Weight of the P metric 265/75-16??
Somewhere in this massive thread it was stated they weighed less than the 44 lbs. the Falken chart shows. Anyone know where that thread reference is or weighed a tire?

Just got my 265/70/17 (SL) Wildpeaks mounted on Monday! Even just driving through the parking lot while leaving Discount Tire I could notice a difference, and as soon as I got on the road it was much more evident- so much smoother than my Destination LE2s (that still had TONS of life left). They're also so much quieter than I was expecting. I can hear a little bit of the hum or whine, but it's so quiet it's not that noticeable. My wife still can't hear it.

Very pleased with the tires, and very pleased with @Discount Tire Direct and all of their help. Thank you, fellas!

Just ordered a set of 5 in LT 265/75/16. Truck sees severe winter conditions and trail use so need a tough sidewall and good all around all terrain. They are replacing some Duratracs with balancing issues. Great service from Discount Tire direct.........pleasure to deal with.

Got these installed yesterday. 265/75r16 on a stock Pro. Noise level is similar to stock Goodyears and they look sweet. Very pleased. 20180321_120534.jpg

Well, removal of the small front flaps solved the rubbing problem. I really like these tires.

No, no. I already have that chart bookmarked and know it says 44 lbs. Thanks anyway. Someone in this thread somewhere weighed a 265/75-16 and said it was lighter than what the chart indicates. Maybe I will call Falken tomorrow and see what the tech staff has to say.
