Yeah it looks like they nailed it. Did they take any other measurements? Did they take out the axle shafts when welding on it?

Haha dude I do the same with other dude's build pages. Droolin' all over the place. After this was done, I was like "Wow my truck is actually getting somewhere now" which seems goofy cause theres so much stuff done to it lol.

And make sure you add Reservoir Mounts on that list :frusty: I totally forgot to order them since I thought they came with the shocks.. theyre mounted up with zip ties for now.

Yeah they had a few others like where the shock mount sat on the frame and where the lower mounts went. If you want them you can hit up Jake @559 MOTORSPORTS and he'll hook you up! They didnt remove the shafts, just cut off the old mounts and welded on the new ones.

It was about that time where the battery was struggling a bit to turn the car over. Decided on getting an Odyssey battery after hearing hit/ miss issues with Optima's. Got the 34R-1500T and only thing had to modify to make it fit was the J hooks for the tie down, had to get 8" ones that are shorter since the battery is shorter than the OEM sized battery.

Have fun! I'm sure it'll be an awesome trip. One of these days I'll make it out west.

Mojave Road 2k18 was a success! Drove down and arrived at the trail head a little after 2am on Friday and then stepped off by about 9 the next morning and made it almost 90 miles by 6pm. Finished the rest of the trail the next day and was home by 9pm Sunday. Whole lot of driving in one weekend :bananadead:

Might have seen you out there! We did the Mojave Road this weekend, but started at Afton Canyon on Saturday morning and ended at Fort Paiute on Monday morning.

Just some video screenshots from the trip. The water crossing was a lot deeper on the passenger side of the truck.

Do it! room for a john boat up there!

Add: I’ve always like the idea of the full utility rack up top. I haven’t done much homework, but I’d personally like a full rack setup to toss a small aluminum boat up there with a small motor I can take on and off for those “extended stay” fishing trips. I’m not sure if those racks can actually support that kinda weight off the pavement.

Add again! Just googled and the average flat bottom 14’ weighs like 140lbs
