After the cage is finished I need to redo my interior. Toyota did not produce the all weather vinyl option for 2011's, just 2012+ so I'm unsure if it would fit. Even if it did, the seats are gone and I just have a dog platform that sits in the back. I'm considering cutting the raised portion out and making legs on the platform so I can store recovery gear and my compressor under it. Resale value & noise reduction are not factors. I'm really leaning toward the Line-X right now due to fitment, durability, ease of cleaning, and cost. Any possible issues I'm not seeing with this option?

It looks like the 2012 All Weather Interior is about $600 + shipping.

    Line-X quote is around $450.

Haven't checked what a shop would charge for the custom vinyl.

I wonder if that pretzel by the door is still good...

A pretzel is a pretzel man, you're good.

As for flooring, I would lean line-X but I would put down butyl sound deadening 1/4 thick before getting it lined. The tiniest rocks pinging against the bottom will drive you deaf and mad otherwise. Once it's line-x-ed not much is going to stick to it so if you wanted to add velcro or 3m tape to something to mount it it's going to need hard mounted instead. Also keep in mind line-x is permanent, or at least it is a mother beatch to remove to the point where it's safe to just call it permanent.

Make sure you have all your wires run where you want them, once coated they ain't going anywhere.

You can't weld linex and it's a pain to get through it to enough bare metal. So get your cage in and complete beforehand.

Didn't even know the OEM vinyl floor was a factory option, I personally might have to look into that, looks clean. As for fit 05-15 should have a 99.9% identical floor pan, I'd betcha a buck it'll fit perfectly. I'd imagine the 16+ are also damn close.

I would personally go with the vinyl. Easy to clean, not permanent, and if you wanted to be able to mod the interior after the install I'm sure it would be easier than the Line-X. It's probably a little up there in price though, not sure.

There is a thread on here with a ton of pictures, installations, and P/N's for the flooring install, but I couldn't find it again. My concern with the OEM flooring option is that I'll still need to find a solution for where the back seat was. I would definitely be moving the wires instead of line-x'ing over them. All of the airbag wires, trailer brakes, seat sensors, etc are coming out anyways.

The front half of my truck is Line-X'd right now, and the rest will be done once this 4 link/bed cage is complete. I love how it doesn't pinstripe and washes clean really easy. Took a hit to my front fiberglass fender and it broke it up really bad, but the Line-X is still holding it together. Not even a scuff, and you have to flex it hard to even know it's broken inside.

Now I'm going to be digging for that thread.

Have you considered a @docloco molle rear bulkhead pack rack? That's what I put on my back wall when I deleted the jump seats back there. Very glad I did.

How much was it to Line-x your front? Considering that route heavily when I get my +2 McNeil's.

Is that the blue one? Have you already bought your McNeils? I just swapped to 4" flares since I ditched the All Pro +2 and went with TC +3.5 LT. You can have them in June when I get back for the cost of shipping. The hood and front fenders off the truck were $500 I think. They quoted me $350 for the bedsides, and estimated around $1800 for the cab. I definitely want to make some light aluminum plate or something to cover it up now.

Not sure what you mean by the blue one.

I have not yet purchased McNeil fenders.

I would love to have your old ones! PM me and we can figure logistics.

This is actually my DocLoco rack, there's a group buy open for the next few days get in on it quick!

I saw someone do the same MOLLE type plate, but they had it painted blue. Just sent him a message. If he can do it without the three vertical slots for the hooks then I'm in. Thanks for the heads up!

EDIT: Meh, I'm in. Can live with the slots lol.
