I’ll keep you posted. Only thing stopping my AOP trip would be something for my son. I don’t mind stopping by there and picking it up for you.

I always miss the good stuff. I mean, I don't need any right now, but I probably would have bit on that deal too.

I kinda do both. When I'm down on Hatteras Island, I'd much rather take my money to the locals there than the big chain stores. I work less than 5 minutes from Bass Pro though. So at home, it's them, Amazon, or eBay.

The seller is atozauction. They seem to have a lot of hooks and various tackle for pretty cheap.

Does anyone use salted bait? Like salting shrimp, squid, clams and fish chunks? I'm thinking about trying it as it toughens the meat and wont spoil in the sun/make such a mess.

Maybe I should have said "won't spoil as fast". I'd imagine it'd be okay in the shade without refrigeration for a couple days?

I rarely use clam as bait, maybe once every couple years. I like squid because it stays on so well and shrimp because it's cheap.

Used the bolts going through from the roof rack, flattened out the bungee hook/curled the hooks and then threw a bolt behind it. It is still in beta but its a simple solution to keep the rods out of the way...ish.

I was going to jump on this charter because he had two spots open up last minute but had to take my son to doctor appointment. :(

this is what I use in my Honda and see a lot of others use in their camper shells. Can’t for the life of me remember who makes them. There’s a company called Boat Buckle that makes something very similar though called the “delux rod carrier”
