I have 275/70/17 BFG KO2 tires but am not 100% what PSI I should be running. Been between 32-25.

Any recommendation for PSI I should be running with those tires on this truck?

20180324_131554.jpg This is my 2017 Inferno where I ended up going with the ToyTec BOSS kit which has the front coilovers and rear add-a-leaf, This ended up getting me 2" in the front and 2" in the rear. The add-a-leaf's preserved the factory rake (where the rear is 1" higher than the front) which I think makes for a really good looking stance. I have 26570r17 Nitto Grapplers on it and have debated whether its worth exchanging them out for the 275 KO2 or not. Im not sure its worth it. Still debating and have time to change it. I am happy with the look.

I wonder if any of these tacos with a 2.5in lift would fit into a normal height garage? ill be moving into a new place by the end of the month with garage parking and my lift is not installed yet. please tell me it would fit into a regular height garage

Wondering this myself, I was running them at 35psi but when I got the truck back from its 15K service they marked the tires as low and all were inflated to 45psi. They have been on for 5K miles and were noted to have even tread wear across all 4.

What are others running theirs at?

I moved up to 38 yesterday and the truck seemed to drive better today on the way to work. Still interested in what the majority of others are running for even tread wear.

you should do it, not any louder, barely any power loss and the biggest you can go without cab mount chop. but most importantly. Bigger

Sorry I am a tire noob. I know folks have gone 265/70/17 on stock suspension but I feel like if I'm going to shell out the dough for new shoes I might as well go 275/70/17. I just want to notice the upgrade from what I'm running now (265/65/17). So what's the consensus on what has to be done to fit 275/70/17? Just level the front? Nothing at all? Billsteins all around to make it less stiff? I've used the search function til my eyes bleed and feel like there is no consensus haha

It all depends on your wheels backspace and offset. I have 17x8.5 4.3 backspace and -10mm offset w/275s. I have 2 1/4” lift up front and 1 1/2” in the back and had to trim some plastic but it clears the cab mount.

Do all 3rd Gen 4x4 Sports have the same backspace and offset? I was planning on just going with factory 17 inch wheels with the 275/70/17s. I just don't know what is needed to get those to fit.

There is on guy on here that has done this, but he added 1.25 wheel spacers no lift. He claims no rub. Stock sport wheels are +30mm, off road wheels +25mm offset

Found his profile sorgon82, he also posted a page back. Check out his pictures.

Not sure if you’re confused with the term but the truck model doesn’t matter, it’s the wheels. Like @na8rboy described, the factory wheels could possibly work with some spacers. Once you get them, just go up a driveway at a turn with enough speed to compress your front suspension and you’ll find out if you rub or not. Just don’t go too fast.

Yeah I was thinking this pertained to the difference in Sports/ORs/Limiteds, etc.. and what they can fit. My bad. I see what you're saying. I just never realized that the wheel had anything to do with the tires fitting. I thought all 17 inch wheels were created equal.. told you I was a noob.

i ran them only pavement for a year, stock suspension with 1.25 spidertrax spacers and some trimming of plastics. you can use a heat gun also and push it in. nothing major at all. hes right, take the incline driveways slow and you should be fine. My lift goes on this spring, then i can play in the dirt safely
