Check the rear door plastic peices. One of mine wasn't seated properly, and once I found it, it's quiet now.

It looks really sharp, not 'arch'y'. I would get that one but the SnugTop Rebel has got my attention right now after considering all options. I hope it looks as good as the V with the access cab. Is there any particular reason you chose ARE? I'm about ready to order my cap.

I had an ARE CX on my 2011 Tundra and it served me well. My dad has the same and it’s been great for him so I went with another ARE.
Different cap manufactures are popular in different regions of the U.S. Not many people have Snug Tops in Ohio where ARE Caps are manufactured here.
ARE and Leer are about all the dealers carry near by.

A couple reason why I love the access cab
1: the look, it actually looks like a truck.
2: if I wanted the 4 door, I would have gotten the 4Runner. The 5 ft bed is entirely too small
3: if I got the 4 door with the extended bed, than I would have just gotten the tundra

How hard was the bedrug installation, and does it go under the bed rails?

It’s not hard at all. Just clean the bed first and apply the Velcro in all the right spots and you’re good.
The rug stops just under the factory track system.
You do need to remove the inverter and cubby box on the drivers side. It helps hold it down. Super easy.

Agree. For me giving up the four doors for the longer bed was the turning point. Debated at the dealer but the 5 foot bed was just to small for what I needed.

Oh another thing, don’t know if I mentioned this yet or not but I bought mine used on Craigslist local for almost half price and it was basically still new. 2nd Gen Bed Rugs fit the 3rd gens. It just falls a little short but near the cab since they didn’t put the track system on the cab side of the 3rd gens like they did on the second gens but it effects nothing really. I installed a rail for other reasons.

I've already added the cab-side rail. Its where I mounted my hi-lift.

Thanks! If I lift mine will definitely do it like you did. Going to be towing a pop-up camper and don't want the front pointing up.

@2ayne your truck looks awesome! Access cabs definitely pull off caps better. I just need to get one for mine now.
