I just got my 2 stroke LED's today and am having trouble getting them into the projector lens. There doesn't seem to be enough space for the back of the bulb to fit. Has anyone installed these and know how to get it into the low beam for the headlights? Any help would be appreciated.

Remove top bolts off headlight and gently tip forward.

I tried exactly that too, and still couldn't get the back end to fit in...

Do you think I should just use more force?

I got my 2 Strokes today and plan to install them tonight. I hooked all wiring up and made sure they illuminated. They do! I’m stoked. Any thoughts on bulb orientation? Should the diodes face up and down or side to side?

I'm highly certain it only goes in one orientation because there are 3 tabs on the bulb, one big and 2 small so they only go in one direction. I believe it fits in side to side. Hope that helped!

Oh! Right. I’m really good at this thread response thing.
So I had to remove the mounting screws on the top tabs of the headlight. After I did that, I GENTLY pulled the headlight forward until I had enough room to wiggle the bulb in. And when I say wiggle I mean gently force that bastard into place.
The collar (metal ring with gasket) you put down around the bulb stalk doesn’t really snap into place so it may move once you’ve got the bulb ready to be twisted in. Kind of a pain to take out and fix only to put back in again.
There is only one way the bulb goes in: the biggest tab on the mounting collar will align with the slot closest to the outer fender.
As far as light output is concerned, I’m not overly impressed. The clarity is what I love. A nice bright actual white color. I don’t know if they they shine as far as the Denso h11 halogen bulbs I removed but I’m happy. And paid $105 shipped, from MBAuto on eBay.
