Anyone here have a nicely setup 1st gen in Timberland Mica (or whatever it was called then) and work at a certain Palo Alto Toyota dealer?

Nice, i’ll take the winch. We can settle payment for that and the woodworking tools when we get together to mount it, and finish off the 6th bolt on your bumper.

I’m in no big hurry though, I still need to repaint my bumper and pick up any other items needs for the winch connections first.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to assume you would be okay with waiting for payment on the winch. I was just thinking take care of it all at once. Plus I was up really late last night which is unusual for me.

Just let me know if you want me to PayPal you anything sooner. Or I could bring you cash and help you with your bumper and save my stuff for when i’m ready.

Also, i’m having a hard time finding a non-aluminum hawse fairlead (preferably Black). The Warn 73850 looks to be the one I need @ $50, but in some places the description says it’s for synthetic rope only. Is that because they can’t differentiate between the aluminum version and the black one?

No need to win the lotto, just skip a couple mortgage/rent payments and live out of the drifter. Think of the money saved in the long run. Sounds like a win win to me.

Same with that one, in the description it says wire or synthetic rope. But under features it only says synthetic. You have a wire cable though right? Any issues with it scratching or wearing from the cable?

I don’t have to order anything right now so if you feel like looking that would be cool.

The description is wrong. The fairlead is cast iron.

@Holloman and I had some fun up in Mendocino this morning. We almost made it to the top of the mountain but the snow was starting to melt and getting slushy.
