"RockStep" Rocker Guards/Sliders?

Anyone have experience with these?



Very tempting price. I don't plan to do any crazy rockclimbing, but I do want some sliders/armor in the event I get put in a sticky situation. I'd hate to damage my doors.

 

Looks like this guy doesn't think they're good enough to be slider. False advertising on ebay?

Definitely only good for the occational door ding or shopping cart damage (if that).

 

They are not a rock slider they are bolted to the body and are just a beefy looking step. I would not hit them on anything as they can cause damage to your body.

 

Agreed. Oh well, at least somebody might stumble upon this thread for info.

 

I had them on my '16 TRD OR. They were alright. I liked how tight they fit to the body. I now have the OCF rock sliders on my '18 Pro.
