Got a lot of stuff lol
For a forum there's a lot of people who don't read....I guess they're just here for the pretty pictures. While I have ordered from wheelers before and had no issue, I'm not going to lie they could have worded their response a little different.

I guess I’m just missing the point of this thread. Granted, didn’t read all 6 pages.

I thought OP got some wrong parts (yup, that happens sometimes), welded them up, realized they were wrong, and was crying because he didn’t get a refund for the parts.

I do think it’s relevant to point out that the 2016 info on the receipts is a user input. That said, it does seem clear that whoever OP spoke to was not up to date on the parts they were selling and made the same assumption as the OP, that second gen parts (which used to be 05+) would fit a 3rd gen.

To say “wowomgwow never order from Wheelers again” seems a bit ridiculous lol. Especially for the guy that ordered $3,000 worth of stuff with no issues.

I’ve ordered and have had customer order cam tabs from them. I’ve done a handful of them. Super easy always fit good. 1st 3rd gen I’ve had to do. Looked at Brian asked if they are the same as 2nd gen he showed me the invoice where it says 05+ so I took that as let’s get started. I weld the Kit up first so they can cool down. Then drill out the spot welds and prep the area they are welded to. Put them up and realized the Frame didn’t match the new tab. Grabbed a bolt and said well we’re fucked. Called a local Fab guy up as I’m just starting up but have done lots of work already prior. Got them to fit the bolts and went to town.

Put the arms in and the bolts would go between the tabs. Second motion were fucked. Had to take my dry cut chop saw and cut strips of 1/4 plate to make new tabs. Everything is done and truck is back on the road. Brian lives 3 hours south of me and we did this in a Sunday. Noting we can do but modify everything to get him back on the road.

Being in retail for over 10 years and being a store manager for my current job really he is only looking for wheelers to admit they messed up and apologize for it. But by their response I don’t think that is a option now. I did learn just because a invoice says it’s 05+ that will not include the 16+

3rd time orders have been messed up going to op so I can see his issue with them. But that’s another issue.
