    We are doing some weekend camping this summer and got a Kodiak tent. This was our first install attempt and it took about an hour. We are very happy with fit and quality. We’ll know more after we use it. It fit over the G4 Elite tonneau cover and mounted to the rails with no problems!

    How did you position the L-shaped base plates on the bed rails? First time I set it up I had the rear edge of them about 8" back from the tailgate. It fit kinda funny. I set it up again this morning with the rear edge of those rails almost back to the tailgate, and the whole area of the tent around the tailgate seems too loose.

    I saw a tip somewhere advising to set it up and hose it down good, then let it dry in the sun to kind of "shrink to fit" the canvas to your truck, so mine is drying right now in the sun.

    This is the second setup, drying in the sun. This time the L-rails are almost back to the tailgate and the fit around the tailgate is sloppy.

    Yes! Maybe 15 minutes once you know what to do. Don’t forget the poles, we went to New Hampshire last year and I forgot the poles!:eek:

    Lol. Thanks. Never had a bed tent, but like the looks of this one. I guess a bit of practice putting it up and down a few times would help. I've had to put ground tents up in bad weather and it's never fun, but quickness makes it less of a pain.

    Maybe I'll turn the lawn sprinklers on and teach myself to get it done under pressure.
