What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

That’s just what one shop said their suppliers was. I’ve seen them for $500 but still a hell of lot more than $50 lol

 

How’s she ride? I finally got around to getting mine out of the middle of the floor of the garage today and put it in storage.

 

I won't even touch a used door in the rot belt, buy one from a dry state. These doors will rot where the door skin is folded over the on the bottom right under the seam sealer. There's a lot of doors out there that look nice until you look at the seam sealer and find out the door is shit

 

I got my new hi-lift Xtreme 60"

 

The door looks fine aside from the shitty paint someone else did on it. I hardly see Toyota bodies rust here, usually just the frames

 

Went to my dads and used the lift.
Greased the driveshaft fittings, tightened brakes, and did routine oil change while I had it up. Love that lift.

 

Started my onboard air project today.

 

Exciting stuff happening tonight guys. On my way to go pick up the 85 pickup and make it mine

 

Well good news turned bad news. Truck/dolley rental place decided they were gonna close AFTER they gave me a reservation and said I could pick it up tonight.

I had to replace a motor in one of those dam things when I was wrenching for a living. Came out the passenger door with it..

They're supposed to drop out the bottom but you can service a few items from the passenger floor access plate.
