Just started snowing here. Morning everyone

 

School got canceled down here now. Wife is pissed.

 

When I left Easton @ 5am and drove to Clinton 6am..nothing..
Snow stated here @ 7am nothing until then..

 

Fuck the snow!!! Says 3-5 inches here for Friday I hope that changes.

I worked at a Restore in Raleigh NC doing volunteering for a while and it was huge, probably the size of a big walmart. We had some old dude cruise through the front, loading bay door (it was closed) turn right towards all of our glassware/dishes etc... and just smash down row after row after row of stuff. Luckily no one was hurt, or even hit a little and the old guy and his wife were fine, he came out of the car confused as all hell but okay.

Rest of the day we were cleaning up glass shards, but it was an exciting thing with no injured, so I think it was worth it.

Sick of the weather. Supposed to be bad weather all this week

This is the start of a 3 week stretch with 2 days off for me. Blech.

That's usually how it works.

 

I am down under 1/4 tank of oil. My boiler guy wants to replace the shutoff and oil line and needs the tank low to do it.

It's a 100 gallon minimum, so I can't get more delivered. If it doesn't warm up soon I guess I'll be buying diesel 5 gallons at a time.

 

God, people on the TW FB page are stupid. Just had some idiot arguing that you don't need tow mirrors because the regular mirrors work 'just fine' for towing.
Then it turns out that he's swapped out his factory mirrors for Tundra mirrors, because he needed better sight lines.

 

For the first time in years I don't owe on my taxes! I'm treating myself to a green smoothie

 

Like, it's a regular smoothie with green food coloring, or it's made out of grass and leaves?

What else do you add? I've been on a strawberry & avocado kick lately, with a banana & almond milk as the base.

 

Banana, vanilla almond milk, oatmeal, honey, almond butter

I think that's everything

 

Instant oats, rolled oats, steel cut oats....?
Seems like that would make a really chunky smoothie.

Edit- Mine is generally a banana, almond milk, avocado, and whatever I want for fruit (blueberries, strawberries, mango, etc). Then I'll drop in a tablespoon or two of this stuff for protein.

Treating yourself means something completely different to me I guess.

 

Gotcha. Wouldn't work for me; I hate instant oatmeal so all I keep in the house are rolled oats. Those would be waaaay too chunky to add to a smoothie.

Speaking of which, are you allowed to drink beer again yet?
