How close are the brake calipers ? ive seen pics where you couldnt slide a playing card between the caliper and the rim....I literally have these wheels in my cart but Im worried about fitment. I have a 2017 TRD Off Road and am having a hell of a time finding 16" rims , lol. May have to stay factory. I already ordered my tires so 17" rims just aint happening for me......at least not this 30,000 miles. SUPREMELY BUMMED

The first time I installed them, they were rubbing on the calipers badly. Installed 1.25 spacers and everything ran great. I've put about 5,000 miles no problems.

I was thinking about 1/4 " spacers as a solution. I appreciate it brother. Im just gonna take my medicine and run my factory rims and jump to 17's next time. pisses me off a little though because I really want 16" rims. They just look better to me....I wonder If engineers just try to mess with us a little bit sometimes, lol . Its stupid to have factory 16 " rims but cant get aftermarket ones.

These are such great wheels, I'll be putting this on my truck once I can find them in inventory again.

Looking for 16x8 in matte black in case anyone has a line on them.

What's the consensus on interference with brakes? I'm over running spacers. Is it enough that they cannot physically fit over the brakes or they just rub a little? i'm not opposed to grinding down the calipers a bit.

Im sure it wouldnt be advisable to do that.... the calipers are kinda important.

I have a 2" lift, -12 offset.... No spacers needed.

I bought mine from 4Wheelparts online. I was originally going to go 16x8 the guy I spoke to to order told me that was a no go on these wheels. Said they would not fit with the brakes and that I needed to go 17x9. I wasn't too worried as I found a bigger selection in tires at 17x9 anyways.

I would suggest calling them and asking. Also, this time of year they have huge sales, I got mine on sale price ($110 each I think), no sales tax, and free shipping.
My advice is to know exactly what you need, then be patient and jump on the deal you want.

Calipers are important, they are also super thick. I'm sure grinding a fraction of a MM from where it might rub wouldn't cause my brakes to fail.

If it does, and I die, feel free to say "I told you so" at my funeral. You're invited :D

What do you mean by "rubbing on calipers bad?" Did the wheels fully seat on the hub? Could they turn?
