4Runner wheels on a 2nd gen

Hey guys what’s up. I’m new on this forum. I just want some feed back on 2016 4Runner wheels on my 08 Tacoma’. Haven’t purchased them but do any of you guys have any pics?

I think they look good but I might be a little biased.

 

They look good I like it.. do you think $200 is a fair price for the set of 4?

 

I've bought 8 to get a set of 5. Was cool with paying $400 for perfect ones, was a lot happier paying $220 for ones with some chips.

 

As long they are professionally powdercoated black or gray.

Silver/steel wheels never look good.

Just bought 4 runner wheels also for Taco.
Didn’t get lugnuts.

Does anybody know if lugnuts from OE alum 16” 2015 Tacoma wheels will fit?

 

Yes, alloy lug nuts are the same

 

Yep if you had factory alloys yours will work. The lugs that come with the 4runner wheels are a little taller on the acorn part but doesn't effect any thing or at least the set I got were compared to my 2010 TRD OR wheels. Had to swap mine because the originals had swollen up and a 21mm didn't fit at all. 1st gen lugs may even work. I have a set but never compared to the newer ones.

I found a brand new set of these Toyota wheels on Craigslist for 150. Will the sensors off my 2011 work with these wheels?

 

safe to say the T4R wheels are tacomaworld approved

 

Wait I’m confused. Will the TPMS off my stock alloy wheels work with the 4Runner wheels? Lol
