I can’t seem to get the last large tab at the top of the grille pushed in. It’s as if the width of that particular tab won’t allow it to go through, it’s stuck in the hole. It looks no different and doesn’t feel any less secure so I’m not that I worried. If I have time I might take it off and reinstall it starting with the top tabs this time.

I’m super stoked on this grille. I just go out and stare at my truck now because it looks soo much better. Probably one of the coolest looking grilles.

Ordered mine last week from bruceshark on eBay and it arrived today. Took advantage of eBay’s 15% off and got it for $101 and some change. Very well packaged, so no broken tabs or anything. Fit and finish look good. It may not be OEM, but for that price I’m not complaining.

Yeah but who’s gonna be able to tell it’s not OEM?

Looks great. Just got mine yesterday. I’m going to paint the base of the “T” and “A” before install so it matches.

Did you use any extra adhesive for the letters?

I put a couple coats of flat clear on mine for the extra UV protection. Not sure if they will fade but already had it for another project.

Just finished installing this Faux Pro grill. https://www.ebay.com/itm/183091694474?ul_noapp=true
No issue with the quality of the part or packing/shipping. It came from Hong Kong and took about a week and half to get here.
Painted the lettering to color match the blazing blue pearl.

Unless it's someone who has been monitoring this thread very closely, I doubt anyone would know the difference. Personally, I think it looks great and the $300 I saved can be put towards the TRD skid plate or those Baja Designs fog lights that I've been eyeing.

I put a little bit of epoxy on a couple of the letters to test it. The first and last letter would touch on the sides and not the back if I didn't have the adhesive tape on there, so I have the tape on all of them. The tape is honestly stronger than I expected, but I may go back a put a little epoxy here and there for extra measure.

Okay... I am going to pull the trigger on this grill. I will probably go with Amazon just so i can utilize their customer service in case there is issues. My next question is... where can i get the shroud that goes around the grill? I got backed into the both the grill insert and the grill shroud are damaged. I rather not go through the parts store for that piece... thanks!

The tape will dry and crack overtime due to weather elements, epoxy is the best insurance. I soaked the pins on the backside until it overflowed into small humps to make sure the pins were grabbed. Then I put weight on the inside of the grill so that the letters were pressed against my work surface until they dried. Don’t flip over the grill so the letters face you until it dries. It dries in 5 minutes but I gave it 30 minutes to and hour until touching the epoxy felt hard not tender, until I installed.

Thank you. Just make sure you get the right paint color. I ordered the first color that came up with an online search and the color I got was way too dark. Ended up ordering a spray can from this place and it matches perfectly. Of course, it wasn't cheap.

Why can't you put the TSS in the '18s? the grille I received, all I had to do was remove the fake plate from the grille and install the TSS radiator garnish piece that fit fine for the TSS.

What is everyone using for paint on the T and A. Most spray paint won’t last on front grills. Plastic dip? Let me no what you all used. I have to paint mine.
