2004 Tacoma A/C cycles on and off at idle

    Just got the truck. Got one of those do it yourself charging gauges and when it cycles off it goes into the red zone but when it cycles on it goes to about 50 on the gauge and cycles off. It seems to cool good while driving. Any thoughts?

    2004 trd off road 4X4, 265 75 r16 bfg at, bilstein 5100 all around front at 1in, rear firestone ride rite air bags
    Normal. If i remember correctly only fill when the compressor is on. Also the ac cycles on and off at idle unless your on recirculate for the air.

    Awesome...When I was checking it it was on recirculate. But it still cylcled. I'll keep an eye on it...and Thank You for the info
