Does this clear the wheel well? I like the price (<50$)

Description says the cot is 7.5" high. I made this little diagram when i took measurements of my bed awhile back, so I don't think it would clear the wheel wells without some kind of modification or something under the legs.

*Edit* Pretty sure the dimensions are the same for all longbed 2nd Gens, not just '12-'15

The same shit everyone else has.
    It does not.

Zoom in on the first photo I post, you can see where it sits in relation to the body line in the bed that is the same height as the wheel wells. The cot is about 2" shorter than the wheel well.

I choose this one because of the price, and the fact it was so short and I wouldnt lose any headroom. I have a Rotopax mounted behind the driver side rear wheel well, and traction boards mounted over the passenger side wheel well, so clearing the wheel wells wasnt a concern of mine.

It would be good on a sleeping platform if you wanted to clear the wheel wells without losing a ton of headroom.

DIY Job. I stuck an led strip under the awning. It doesn't light up the entire campsite, but it is great for the area under the awning.

OK, photos are edited, and the writing has begun! Grab a mug of your favorite beverage, it's a crazy one.

    . . .

...when I found out that @mrs.turbodb was headed out of town for a week, I was quick to make plans for a return trip to Death Valley. Going solo, my route did include a few of our favorite spots (Butte Valley and Goler Wash), but focused on several new areas as well - most outside of Death Valley proper (West Side Road, Charcoal Kilns, Saline Valley + Warm Springs, Steel Pass, and Eureka Dunes)...
