We have a couple nights coming up at a hotel in the area of London Bridge.

Any recommendations in that area for good food at reasonable prices?

Any recommendations for 'must see' items that are not on the normal touristy hit list?

We'll mostly walk and bus. Not looking to be all inclusive, just any tips for that specfic area.

    TIA!

A little of this and a little of that.
My wife and I spent 4 days in London back in June 2014.

I don’t have specific restaurants to recommend, sorry. We would ask a local person/worker at one of the venues we were touring for restaurant recommendations. We always found really decent food and most of the time the portions were large enough for us to share.

The area around London Bridge is very close to the Tower of London. That is a must see. I recommend taking the Beefeaters tour. They are going to bust the chops of ‘Colonists’, but do what I did and remind them that us ‘Colonists’ kept them from speaking German. :D

We used the buses and walked throughout the city. I think it’s called the Oyster card. It’s good for buses and the tube (subway).

    Enjoy!
