I saw these things in the turd gen side and immediately heard the screech of an American Bald Eagle over an angel choir singing to a guitar player who sold his soul to the devil. The smell of hot apple pie filled my whole garage and I saw the Babe smash one into the bleachers before my eyes. Bombs bursted in air and our flag was still there!

Unfortunately, they’re only currently available for the turd gens!

You see, I use an aftermarket locking gas cap because I’ve had fuel siphoned out of my tank overnight TWICE. The new gas cap doesn’t have a tether or fit the factory tether (first world travesty!). I usually leave it on the bed cover or in the truck while I’m pumping. Less than ideal. I’ve forgotten it once, closed the gas door and drove off. Lost it in snow for a solid hour in the mountains of Colorado. And when I stow it in the cab, it makes it smell like dead recycled dinosaur farts. The ladies don’t like that so much. (Well, some do.)

Ladies and gentleman, greatest generation Tacoma owners everywhere. Let’s make our voices heard! We want GASSHOLES!

That's awesome, but I'll vote no. I like to throw caution to the wind and let mine dangle where she pleases, flopping in the wind and whatnot. Looks cool though.

He said he's doing one. But he wants to make sure both SB and LB versions are available at the same time, as to avoid a great shit storm that would, no doubt, ensue upon only offering one or the other

I just don’t need one, I don’t have any problems with losing my cap. But good idea for the ones that do.
How will they remember to put the cap in that doohickey?

He’s literally just waiting for Long Bed fitment conformation then he will be making them. Just no one has time to read through 60+ thread pages to figure that out.

I already installed the SB version on my 2nd gen and confirmed fitment.

For some, maybe. For some, including me, it would be put to good use.

So this is only useful for those who replace their gas cap with one without a tether?

Otherwise, you would just hang it on the the little clip and not worry about it.

Nah mine is original and I hate hanging it by the tether. Different strokes for different folks and all that.

    Hey guys,
Sorry don't check into this sub much.
Yes..some of you will think this is a waste of $20. Others with OCD will use it. Not Everyone likes Gassholes.
I started making one for the 2nd Gens due to frequent requests, only to find out the SB and LB have different doors.
I have the SB's confirmed and done(in fact I have a bunch sitting here) but finishing up design on the LB ones.

Bed rug, ARE bed top, Weathertechs. Little goodies here and there!
I like to put things in tight holes, so GASSHOLE for me. Letting it hang just makes thing go places where they shouldn't.
