    @Blackout14

    I think I'm going to order some JBAs. I'll probably get the HD just because.

    I shouldn't need wheelspacers with factory wheels right.

    17 off road w/ 265/75/r16

    Using this formula
    Wheel width/2 +25mm +1/4in
    It looks like my BS is 4.73 in.

    Shit that's nothing...mine are about 15k kms and ONLY one Canadian (Alberta not a lot of salt) winter. I may look at buying new ones depending on what Marlin says.

    Heard nothing but good things about it so far. How often are you applying it @Blackout14?

    Oh and I finally get to install all of it this weekend. My friend works at a dealer so it will be "dealer" installed. Hahaha!

    Was just in Moab with my JBA control arms. Wish I would have run into him there. They are awesome arms and perform very well on and off-road. Highly recommended!!

    Hit the place up just before EJS and went elsewhere during the big event. Don’t care much for the crowds.

    I hope so...seeing those rust the way they did kind of pissed me off. I expected that after a few years maybe, not after just one winter.

    And Alberta isn’t even close to what they use in the eastern provinces.

    I right with ya, as far as the rust I am very disappointed and I also sprayed them with Fluid Film.

    Yikes! Those are horrible. If you decide to replace yours, keep this thread updated with the process, results, etc as I won’t being looking into replacing mine until summer.

    I'm probably just going to wire brush them, and paint them red or black myself.

    Pounded down the pinch weld today. Clearance with the new arms is good to go now. Just bought sometime until I get the lift.

    How did you go about painting them? Just remove the ball joint and spray?

    IMO...... I think the ball joint plate assembly should be cadmium plated. Its a process that attaches a metallic film to the bare steel (a golden iridescent color) using a very low current process and prevents corrosion, as long as it does not get scratched or blemished. It may cost a little extra for this process, but it is well worth it. Aircraft steel assemblies that remain bare are treated this way and last a very long time. Maybe this process in the manufacturing of the ball joint assembly could be implemented.
