Yea, I mean, whee you live, you are not going to be bothered at all. Just don't do it in public or it can be confiscated and you could be fined. Right now everyone is looking for any reason at all to show drones in a negative light so we are at their mercy.

    Here are some basic rules.

    https://www.airmap.com/rules-to-fly-recreational-drones/

Basically, even though you fall under the recreational or hobbyist type of pilot, the rule still applies and flying more than 30 min past dusk or more than 30 min before dawn is illegal. Just like hunting. No matter how many lights you have on it. Like I said though, who's gonna mess with you out there? No one.

I get a kick flying my drones. It's a fun hobby. I want to do some shots too with mine of the truck.

"I will not be adding anymore"...HAHAHAHA I've seen that posted a zillion times before. Until you sell the truck or until MESO stops making amazing inventions, I don't believe you!! :D

I do like the recessed lightbar in the grill. Like someone said earlier...it's like it was meant to be filled with a lightbar! With that said, I don't plan on filling it. One of my later mods (a much later mod because I want wheels/tires/suspension first) is to get a SSO Slimline front bumper w/ winch and LED bar inside of it. :D :D

Oh what it must be like to have money...

Anyways, I do want to get some ditch lights in the mean-time. I want some Baja Design S2's. They're smaller but still wicked bright from all accounts that I've seen. :headbang:

Lol very true. I guess what I mean is no more light bars or lighting unless I am swapping or replacing. I just wont add to what i have lol

Dude that SSO Slimline is sick. I have that saved as well, but $800 is a high price. I also am saving for Wheels and Tires. I have the lift kit sitting in my spare bedroom at the house just waiting to be installed. Fiance got it for me last Christmas. I've only had my Tacoma 5 months and i cant believe what I have already done to it.

I've had my Taco for about as long and I've been thinking the same thing! lol I'm not sure if I should be happy that I have to buy a house this summer...looking forward to the move, but that means I have to stop modding the truck for a while.

What lift kit do you have and what wheels/tires are you planning to get? I can see why you're marrying that gal of yours!!! At most, my wife would only buy a decal! :p But that's okay, cause at least she lets me spend time in the garage with my baby.

Yeah, luckily I got the house buying part done in February of 2016.

Personally, I want to do a 20x10" wheels with a -12 or -19 offset. I haven't found anything else I like, so I am just gonna follow suit and get a fuel wheel. I like the Fuel Coupler so may go with those. I love the Fuel Rampage, but at $515 a wheel, I'll pass.

As far as tires go. I want a 285/55/20. I would like to go with a 285/60 or 295/55 but those aren't as common in the tire world so the price jumps significantly and you have to choose from some of the big name brands which are already expensive. My buddy that works for an Offroad shop has convinced me on the AMP M/T's. He says for a Tacoma, as light as they are, these tires will be awesome. For the price they come at too, they're almost unbeatable. He says the life is great. He also says that for an M/T tire it's very quiet on the road and its got a very aggressive looking tire.

The lift she bought me is the Rough Country 3" Lift with upgraded struts. So its rear shocks, blocks, and front struts.

I doubt it. I am in for nearly $4k at this point. Lift will make it $5.5k Add $3k for armor eventually, another $.5k for more lighting (LOL), another $1.5k for seat covers, CAI and muffler. What's that $14.5 HAHAHAHAHAHA

I hope my wife never sees this post because all I will ever hear is "oh yeah, right! you said you would not need to do anything to this truck, that it is perfect just the way it is off the lot".

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

These "towers" are for Overhead sign requirements in the US. It is not required in European (or EC) vehicles. Some information about this can be found here...

Funny, I was just looking at the Rough Country lift yesterday. I was curious how much they cost. I don't want to spend on a full lift (who does), but I want to do it right the first time. It'd be hard for me to justify with my wife why I need to take apart the suspension "again". LOL

Those Rampages look great! So do the Coupler's, but I agree that the Rampages are the better of the 2...but YIKEs on the price.

Personnally, I'm still leaning toward the older TRD T/X PRO wheels...the fake beadlock style. Of course I really like the SCS Ray 10's that Rob has, (saw some in person last month and they look even better in person), but I think it'd be even cooler to have a wheel that almost no one has put onto a 3rd gen. Of course, your 20 inchers would be in the that same category. ;)

Oops, forgot this was the LED thread (again). lol

So, um...oh yeah, does anyone know how long the vanity light festoons are? I should make those LEDs even tho they are never used. lol

oh, so are they the same as the dome lights? You link says they are 30mm and I know the specs of the dome lights are 31mm, but the dome light was a VERY tight fit with my 31mm and I felt that a 30mm probably would have been a better fit.

I am pretty positive these are what @Parker315 Brett posted in his parts list, or was it @ZYBORG that posted a list. My head is spinning here at work and my blood sugar is low LOL. Need nourishment. I hear a couple bottles clinking together on the counter at home calling my name!!! A Tennessee gentleman named Mr. Woodford (Reserve) and very tan pirate name Capt. Morgan! LOL

Shit, or was it @Sedyn that posted a lit. I am fried.

Tried to duplicate Hikari light pictures after adjusting them up 3/4", only 6' off a wall, on the same roads as my earlier pictures. I did not set the zoom the same as before the adjustment thus my pictures were not a good comparison. I can say where before my lows cutoff at the rear window/top of trunk on midsized cars now cuts off at the bottom of a small suv rear window. I drove around and noticed a bit better throw from the lows. I also noticed, with the BD fogs, that the fogs shined farther before the lows picked up at the transition. The highs were already good and now I can see dogs eyes nearly 100 yards away. Note that my truck is level on Bilsteins that will affect results. I met at least 40 vehicles and did not get flashed. So my results are all plus to the good side. Not enough drive time to give a full review of the adjustment. I am pleased with the results however I need to drive more to make sure the lows give enough coverage directly in the front between the grille and 15 yards away. Here are the new pictures. They are a little grainy. I will try again on another clear night by setting the zoom the same as my before pictures for a better comparison. Lows/lows and fogs/highs on dark road and then cutoff.

Rough country has a 3” kit as low as $300 and a full kit with control arms and skid plate and more for around $1500. I think what I got was about $500-$600. I’m happy and the reviews I saw everyone seemed pleased.

Yeah those Rampage are crazy expensive, so I’ll have to definitely pass on those unfortunately. I want 20” wheels cause I like the way they look, yet not seen very often. I want to be a little different from all the other Tacoma’s on the road.

Here are the Rampage 20” on a 6” BDS lift

And here are the Coupler 20” with a 3” rough country lift

Anyway back to the LED thread topic lol sorry everyone lol

Dayum, those BD fogs are bright!

Isn't it interesting how a slight adjustment can improve things when it comes to lighting?

Thanks for sharing more pics. It's fun to see how the sasquatch is doing. lol

So what was it, CCW or CW to raise the headlights?
