It's why I ruled it out from the beginning, honestly. If you want 3/4 ton gas mileage, just buy a 3/4 ton truck. Then at least you'll have the extra utility to go along with the crappy mpg's.

I just googled it and it looks like a pretty good-sized body of water; why the HP limit? It must take all day to push a boat across that lake with a 25 horse unit. It'd make sense if it was a little 100 acre pond or something, but this?

The tool can read and store your stock values from the truck's computer, then you input the new sensor numbers in the app on your computer and upload them to the tool. The tool now has two sets of IDs stored. You swap on your summer wheels, plug the tool in, punch the summer icon and boom, done. Same when you swap your winter tires on, plug in the tool, punch the winter icon, done. The software will let you store codes for up to four different vehicles and can also handle a 5th sensor if your vehicle uses it to monitor the spare tire as well. I've had mine for a couple of years now and swaps are literally that easy.

Hmm might be worth it then just for the longevity of replacing sensors down the road......

It doesn't take long to get where you want to fish, depending on what gate you go to.

The Titan isn't terrible. The XD is just ok. It will get 17ish on a highway. It's heavier and taller than the regular titan.
Wow... those spotters need to be bitch slapped. They could see the rear wheel tucking under the truck and just let the FJ keep pulling. That could have easily been avoided.
^^^^ You answered your own question, look up one post...

I read a post from the instagram user who posted the video, they were offering advice but the Taco driver didn't want to listen, so they just sat to watch the carnage.

    Alex would be thrilled.

Irrelevant; a 100hp 4 stroke pollutes the water less than a 5hp 2 stroke, so if they were worried about pollution they'd just let you run whatever hp 4 stroke and ban the 2 strokes.

Or at least that's what a state other than Massachusetts would do.

@jethro I called the Hanover MA BWW Thursday and said they were having the fight. Saturday I arrived and they said they weren't. Hostess didn't seem to care and the manager I asked for, what a smug bastard. Had a silly grin on his face and suggested maybe I drive to Dartmouth BWW (over an hour). Nor did he care that I had been told THursday it was happening.

I talked to a couple of parties on the way out and in the parking lot, all of whom were told the same thing I was prior to Saturday. Had I not had my wife next to me I'd have really told the manager what he could do.

The process to get certified looks terrible so I might look into it more and decide the boat won't get the pass to go on Quabbin but I figured I would build with the regulations in mind. Looking at doing a 25HP because of the reg and because I don't go anywhere that needs much anyways. I fly fish primarily so I want a small boat to use on Quabbin and lower swift. I think a 16ft Tracker with a SC is the best bet for me. Just need to pick what I want to have and what I can live without. Good suggestions on the tiller vs SC because I haven't trolled much but have used tiller motors in the past and it can get old.

Any experience with Tracker, Lowe, Crestline, etc?

And in typical MA fashion, Boston is the only thing that matters. So when they needed more water, they flooded four towns to get it.

I have to measure that still, I haven't gotten the boat off the trailer yet. Talked to a guy who can weld aluminum and I might drop the boat off to get a couple of things welded before I take it off. Gotta see what he is gonna charge, but if it isn't too bad and he can get everything looking new I will probably let him do his thing, then I will start looking harder for motors while I get things primed and painted. Won't be using it until sometime in June, so I have a little time.

Are the OEM rotors you buy over the counter different than what the truck comes with new? I had 43K on my set with nary a shake.

Car and Driver did a long term test of the Titan XD and hated it.

    Lots of problems.

He's a member on here. He had his truck listed for sale. You can find the thread easily, it's the locked one in the 3rd gen for sale section.
