Hey fellas, wanted to share my most recent experience with a Taco-related purchase. I came across Triggerhappy through the Colorado Marketplace thread when I was looking for an air damn for my OR. I noticed the services offered in his signature (he's got a tint and clear bra shop) and pretty quickly got in contact with him over the phone to set up an appointment to get a sun visor on the upper portion of my windshield.

Come appointment time, it was easy to find his shop even though its nestled within another business. Ended up taking less time than he quoted (~25 minutes) even though each visor is custom-cut for each application. I really appreciate the effort to 1) thoroughly clean the application surface and to 2) make sure that the visor was in the exact spot I wanted.

End result is a perfectly cut visor (yes, even around the GoPro mount). It covers the area that is around the rear-view mirror, so there aren't any gaps between those tiny dots that the sun can sneak through. On that note, there are absolutely no gaps at all. Here are some pictures:IMG_2035.jpg IMG_2036.jpg IMG_2037.jpg IMG_2038.jpg

Lastly, I'll point out one more positive from my experience. Coming from TW, it was easy for me to ID Triggerhappy's truck in the parking lot on my way in to his shop. Seeing the product I was about to purchase on the vendor's truck is very reassuring.

All said, I'd gladly recommend @Triggerhappy and his company Colorado Solar Control to anyone who is the market for tinting, clear bras, or other vinyl applications.

Yes, I build differentials on the side. My day job is a Toyota technician for the last 20 years . I'm working on a set right now for @GoldenBrew. I do require more time than a shop because this is not my day job but I usually have cores to build so actual vehicle down time is reduced. Shoot me a PM.

Posting this for a co-worker's side business of her & her husband. She is outstanding (plus a scientists to boot) and I highly recommend them.

    Sokratic Creations- 3D Printing

We’re up for most challenges and can do custom designs or just print from an existing design (cheaper). We have 4 printers, our largest bed is 500 mm (19.69 inches or 1.64 ft). We typically print PETG (the stuff our clear bottles are actually made out of in the lab) which is already pretty strong, but our strongest material is Polycarbonate. We once did a tuba mouth piece out of it that turned out really good. We’ve made RC car tires and other pieces, replicas of buildings for Christmas villages, masks for costumes, weapons for costumes, planters, toys, game pieces, lamps and lamp covers, and other household item type stuff, etc. I know we’d be highly interested in getting into doing stuff for the off-road community so this is awesome, thank you!

    Our email is contact@sokraticcreations.com

Custom design work can be quoted, just send us an email, it will be based on complexity of the design. Once something is designed we don’t re-charge a design fee if you end up needing more prints at a later time. If you already have a 3D file, our prints start at $0.70/meter of material used.

Materials: If what you're looking for is not listed, let us know what you need and we can see if it’s feasible for us.

    Current materials we work with:

    1. PETG (default)

    2. PLA

    3. Wood PLA

    4. Raptor PLA (High temp PLA that is a bit stronger than regular PLA)

-This material can be annealed (Heated and then cooled slowly to make it even stronger.)

    5. Polycarbonate (strongest material on the market)

    6. Polyflex or Ninjaflex (rubber-like material)

If you need/want ideas checkout www.thingiverse.com, they have some cool stuff!
