We don't have moose around here. I've been to plenty of wrecks where people tried doing that maneuver. Always end up bad for them and they end up getting hurt worse than if they had just hit the deer. We were trained to not swerve to avoid an animal because you put everyone in danger doing that and are more likely to get hurt or roll over. Moose I agree, swerve but deer and such get hit here. Vehicle's can be replaced or fixed. You ending up with a life long injury can't most likely.

Yeah, I already have it in my mind just to brake and plow into whatever jumps in front of me. Either animal or vehicle. The only thing I will swerve for is a child.

Well I'm in the process of removing the sway bar. I really wanted to take it off with out removing my front armor tech skid plate but looks like that's not a option. So I think I'm gonna put it back on and get the relocation bracket. I also noticed its been hitting on the passenger side also. I sent ARB a e-mail and asked why they do not sell a relocation bracket or a fix to this problem.

Correction.....sway bar is off! Without taking my skid plate off! And no cutting! Just had to use some muscle! Gonna go take it for a spin now to see if I like it.

What’s it like high way going 8 without the sway bar???? I just lifted my Tacoma with front and rear spacers and 285s k02s keep hearing a clunk and I’m pretty sure it’s the sway bar now that I added the 285s didn’t do it when I had the 265s on it. Also ordered the sway bar relocation brackets, cause I drive 40 miles to work and 40 back.

Going 80.?....To me its about the same as going 55 I guess. I am still a bit hesitant going hwy speed though because thats when things can go wrong and when I notice it the most. But Im just more mindful that I dont have a sway bar.... To me this is the route to go off road for a better ride.

Sure, you'll probably fail the mouse test if your spring rates arent high enough. I've had mine off for about 7 years now.
