anyone collect concert posters?

ive off and on collect posters, usually the large format numbered / signed variety.

Nice collection, I'm seeing modest mouse next week!

 

first time i saw them was back in 95 at a laundromat with built to spill. good show but they’re so much better sounding live now.

 

I like to frame old Album covers, and hang them in my "Man Cave"

 

these were all in my home office at one point but decided to bring them into my real office since i spend so much more time there. the goal is to fill the entire room. with aaron bros going on of business i’m gonna go pickup frames and matt board

 

I have a a lot of concert posters, mostly Phish, and a few other Jambands. Went on many tours since 1999 and have collected many of which I still need to frame! It’s been a work in very slow progress.

 

You can not go wrong with that plan, Frames make them look professional and keep other peoples hands off of them too. It also looks better than some generic pictures from the local home store. Just my .02

I had an old Kid Rock tour poster from 98/99 signed by him, I met him back in Jan 99. If I'd known somebody on here was into posters, I would've sent it to you, but I tossed it in the dumpster about a year ago.
I don't listen to him anymore, but kinda wish I hadn't, but I just started chunking stuff.

i now have my answer to 'WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THOSE DAMNED CD LONGBOXES' from ~30 years ago, before they stopped packaging them like that sometime in the early 90s

Frame them!!!

only problem is... i have too many of them need a bigger room!

 

I have a couple more and several needing frames. Black Sabbath's The End tour poster was different in every city. Wanting to get that one framed with the concert ticket.
