Would it be possible to use this kit http://www.beatsonicusa.com/cs6ep.html and mount the camera on the rear of the trailer?

I'd obviously need some longer wires and a connection at the bumper but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Has anyone done this? Any other kits available?

There are many options for wireless backup camera systems for RVs. Check Amazon or google "wireless backup cameras". Most require a separate monitor in the vehicle which is independent from the factory backup display. Getting an auxiliary one to work with factory display may be possible but tedious. Your idea has merit though. Cabling length and extra connection from vehicle to camper could be troublesome. I would go with wireless and a separate monitor which could be disconnected and stored when not using the RV. Much simpler.
