    Howzit everyone,

Knowing there are a lot of us Hawaii people moving to and back from mainland, I thought I would ask on the forum here. What company did you ship your car/truck with and how much did you end up paying? I'm shipping my truck and my wife's Jeep. Quote I got from Hawaii car transport was $3600 for them to be delivered to my new residence in nevada, and $2050 to be picked in in LA. Still waiting on a quote from pasha

I shipped my wifes jeep from LA to here and it was about $1000 through matson. Is there that big of a price difference going back to the mainland?

That's not a bad price, I'm not sure if there's a price difference of HI to mainland/mainland to HI. The deliveryquote of $3600 makes me want to pickup in LA then take a road trip to the new place

oh definitely. I would take that 2600$ difference in a heartbeat. spend 300-400 on gas driving and the rest on shiny new parts.

I shipped my 2011 DCSB to LA FOR $870 in December with Pasha. I think matson was around $1070 at the time

Pasha IMO has better service and i think its about the same cost. Pasha actually drives your car into the ship like a big parking garage instead of shipping it in a container or open to the elements like Matson does. I know a few people that had problems with Hawaii Car Transport.

Update on my Pasha experience. I wanted to pick up our vehicles in Cali at one of the ports, but ultimately the wife wanted it to be delivered to our new place which is in elko Nevada, and it would be an extra fee for delivery Which I understand. What irritates me the most was that they tried to deliver our vehicles on 4/6(Friday) as one of the reps I spoke to stated, but I never received a call or delivery. Then on 4/9(Monday) I called Pasha and the rep told me that they would deliver it that day. Instead of calling, the delivery driver texted us that our vehicles were parked in our apartment complex and that he left our keys in the glove compartment, and his reason of why he left it there is because our apartment # wasn't on the bill of lading, yet on the bill of lading it clearly shows my apartment #. I was home all day waiting for a call so I can see our cars being dropped off. My wife's jeep reeked of cigarettes, and her mileage on her odometer was 1025 miles more than it was when we dropped off our vehicles at the honolulu port. My truck's odometer was about 730 miles higher than when we dropped it off. I have filed a claim, and it is still ongoing, will update later.
