I don't have any experience with the cheaper ones but I haven't heard any complaints from those who are using them. Just a personal preference on my part. At this point, you might as well give them a try and see how it goes imo.

Looks good, can I get more pics of your setup? Plan on doing the same and wanted to see a side shot of my fellow cement OR owner!

Hope this helps. Let me know if you're looking for a specific angle and I'll see what I can do. At 3500 miles and loving the setup, btw.

Yeah they really do look great. Thanks for that. Did you end up getting the wheels online or elsewhere?

I just pulled the trigger on this setup based on the comments and information in this thread. Went with the tires (265/70 17 C) from TireRack for about $700 after all rebates ($60 card) and cash back (1% Chase + 3% Ebates). Wheels from Olathe, they still have the best price I could find online. Local dealership quoted me $215 per wheel, thanks no thanks.

What is everyone doing to sell the wheels/tires they took off? I'll have a set of Tacoma TRD Pros with 1k on the tires to get rid of.

I should have everything installed next week and will post pics. This thread (and forum in general) has been incredibly helpful and a big thanks to everyone on here.

Upstate NY near Albany. I'll probably post them in a for sale thread once I get everything installed. PM me if anyone is interested.

Cool. You'll probably be able to get $1000-1100 for the takeoff wheels and tires.

I can't compare to stock since I put this setup on right away when I got the truck. But from my experience so far, it really depends on what kind of driving you're doing. My typical driving is a mix of city and country roads and I'm getting about 18.5-19mpg. But, if I do strictly city driving that drops down to about 15-16mpg. On the highway, mileage also drops off quickly once I go over 65mph. At 75mph I'm getting around 16-17mpg. Hope that helps.

Probably been covered numerous times but I'll ask anyway. I know the 16 TRD pro Tacoma wheels stick out 1/2 inch from the stock OR wheels, how much do these stick out? I put on side steps and the stance with the stock wheels just isn't doing it for me.

No change in road noise from the stock tires at 55 mph according to the sound meter app on my phone. Running 40 lbs of air.

Looking for a set of TRD Pro rims and recall seeing someone post some good Orange County, CA pricing. But can't find the posting. Anyone have a dealer with pricing for 4 less than $780?

Looks good. Are those OEM mudflaps? Wondering if you rub on the mudflaps?
