For some unknown reason I didn’t plate the frame under the upper link mount. That proved to be a mistake.

When the mount ripped out the axle rotated which broke both flanges on the driveshaft and tweaked the lower eyes on the ORIs.

The fix was to cut out the mount, plate the frame, and add some gussets back to the cross member.

Why would somebody swap out the axle? Is it for those huge 40s and the lift? Looks badass though.

Here's the twin stick kit I used. https://frontrangeoffroadfab.com/twin-stick/

You have to swap inputs to put the FJ case directly behind the transmission, but it bolts up behind the crawl box just fine.

What Timbo said. The dual diaphragm booster provides more pressure on the pedal which allows for the larger GM 1 ton master cylinder to operate properly.

    So you can do this.

So how tippy does this thing feel on the trail? Last time I was in Utah I felt super tippy (and tipped) but a solid axle vehicle I was with didn't seem as tippy even though at times it looked like it.

Coulda been the fact that my buddies wife was driving not him and she didn't know when to be scared
