The job is still a long ways from a sure thing, but it's the best lead we've had so far here.

GFC = gofastcamper the new pop up truck topper/tent thing being made in Bozeman. I hated how the prototype looked, but their production model looks great

Not yet. Been really busy with work the last couple weeks. If the job opening for the wife turns into a sure thing, I'll make a trip to the shop happen, but until then, the details they've been releasing have me pretty well sold.

I moved here in August from Atlanta for a "cleanse" among other draws to the state. It`s been a nice change. I`m ready to enjoy an awesome summer with 0 humidity!

My build? I didn't order one haha just offered to let them borrow my trucks because I want to see one in person and they are close. All the different cabs are well..different on 1st gens. The single cable and more straight up than the extended cabs and the doubles have of course a short bed.

I can't afford one. Plus not 100% it would fit my driving style.

That makes sense. I'm just lucky my wife feels bad that I sold off most of my camping gear to help get her on track financially and wants to make it up to me if this job prospect works out lol. Interesting about the cab shapes though. I never realized that.

Well, if you want to grab a beer with a random guy from the internet and talk about what you saw at the shop when you're in town, let me know! haha

That’s awesome. Yea, I’m looking forward to the summer and just the NW in general. Won’t miss Florida’s 100% humidity and 90+ temps one bit haha.

This warm weather is getting me excited to get on some trails... Does anyone know of any trails close to Bozeman that would be worth heading out to today? Thanks!

Is Dry Creek worth giving a look for just a fun drive? Can't tell on maps if its worth anything...

What... a... beautiful day today was. Oh my goodness. Blue skies, warm but not hot. Sucked having to work today.

I'm pretty lucky, I have a fair amount of discretion on picking when I do field work. Today was a good day for it!

The best part is that tomorrow will be the same. And I wont be working. And all my camping gear is in my Runner :yay:

Went there a few weeks ago. Hard packed snow started about a mile before the trailhead but was able to make it.
