Luckily, I dont have either of those problems. Definitely, no shutter when I step on it or drive it normal and no rattling from the timing chain. I'll make sure though to be on the look out with those.

Meh, I'd rather carry around an Anker battery pack, it has quickcharging input and output, it's very compact. 15 minutes on the charger and you're ready to go. I carry two when on trips and share them between 2-3 other people, have never depleted them.

Anker PowerCore II 10000, Ultra-Compact 10000mAh Portable Charger, Upgraded PowerIQ 2.0 (up to 18W Output), Fast Charge for iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and More (Compatible with Quick Charge Devices) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072MH1434/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_uVj2AbFKEET6T

Edit: The battery pack is also half the weight compared to the solar charger, for all you ultralighters.

Battery packs are great. I figure I will charge mine during the day with the solar charger and then use the pack at night.
Not all of my trips are truck based and sometimes last more than a couple of days before electricity is available.
Plus I like having backup systems because you just never know.

    Gotcha!
For anyone that doesn't know.... If you have no service on your phone, throw it into Airplane mode to conserve battery.
