    Just installed my lift wih the Bilstiens 5100's, 884 Coils, and HS 3 AAL.

    When I look at the truck from the side it looks like the front is much lower then the rear. Does this look normal? Was thinking maybe I should go up in coils to raise the front a little.

    What’s your 5100s set on?

    Also it takes a bit for the AAL to settle down. Go haul something heavy or pull a trailer

    I think the 886 or 887 coils would raise the truck. +the 1/4" spacer on drive side.

    It's all personal preference really.... if you like the way it is now, then leave it. Otherwise, i would suggest either removing a leaf from the rear or going up to 885s.

    The front by nature from the factory tends to be lower than the rear. Doesn't help that the front can also sag over time, but I assume you got fresh suspension up front? I do agree the rear is taller, but its not an uncommon symptom for even lifted tacos to have a lower front. If you can adjust more, then I would try that for the front.

    That's what I was thinking, maybe step up the coils to 885 or 886

    That looks like a natural factory rake. It will allow you to load the rear without sag.

    Rake is a good thing if you intend to use your bed.

    I'd say leave it. The back will settle a bit and trucks should have a small amount of rake in my opinion. I think it looks tough and I rock a little rake as well with just about the same set up.

    Notch up the front end a little or maybe add spacers to the top. In my opinion and experience, don't move up to the 886s. They are really stiff and you won't like the rough ride. I had the 886s but pulled them out after a month or so and reinstalled the stock. Unless you are doing really heavy offroading and or extremely heavy loads I would go with something light. But if you really want the 886s I can sell you mine for super cheap.

    Did you remove the OEM overload leaf?

    I just put in the exact same setup, now sits perfectly level

    I’d say just leave it for now and let everything settle. I personally like just a slight amount of rake to account for addition load weight. Could be worse and you could have your bro lean going on.

    Is your goal to BE cool or LOOK cool? Adding heavier front springs to get a certain look will adversely affect the ride and function of your truck. Removing leafs to get a certain look will adversely affect your ability to haul a load. Springs and shocks should be chosen for the intended use of the truck, not to achieve a look.

    A properly functioning truck should have rake to accommodate varying loads. Level is fine for a truck that isn't used, or a dedicated wheeler, but stay soft on everything for good articulation.

    The nose up look came from the offroad racing world, and is there to absorb hard landings from jumps. It has no place on a mall cruiser, work truck, or offroad truck, UNLESS,.....looks are your deal.

    Agree with what everyone has said so far. It depends on how high you want to go in the front.
    884=2"
    885=2.5"
    887=3"
    886=2.5" w/200+ added weight.

    I went with the 887 so I had the max amount of lift. I didn't want to have rubbing issues, but I still had to loose the front mudflaps. I have rubbed a couple more times, but only when stuffing. I love the ride with the 887 and nitro 90021 though. You having the 5100 have options. You can go up a notch and see if you like it, but it is generally recommended that you stay at 0. You could add a top plate spacer, or get new coils. Good luck. If you haul anything and are not looking for a full 3". Let it settle and see how you feel.
