I've got ten gal of gas from back in July 2017 that's been in Wavian cans, which are well sealed. I didn't add stabilizer. Should I take it the hazmat disposal, or can I still use it? Maybe I could get away with a few gal splashed in with fill ups?

    A really big fire...

J/k if it was a little bit I’d just mix it into a lawnmower or something. That amount if probably just take to hazmat if it’s clear it has separated. Not really sure, haven’t been in that situation before.

Dump it!!! Bring it to a hazardous waste station. Untreated gas is good for 3 to 5 months maybe 6. It’s not worth taking a chance. It will make your vehicle run like crap if it runs at all.
When the prior poster refers to separation he is referring to phase separation. It occurs when you have an ethanol blended gasoline and water enters the tank (can be through condensation). The water and ethanol separate forming a layer in the tank of water/ethanol.

Use it for lawn equipment or add a few gallons every fill up.
I've had many things sit with gas in the tank longer than that and start up just fine. Lawn mowers sitting for 2-3 years, leaf blowers, trimmers, cars. Our snowblower sits in the garage from March until December every year. Sometimes we remember to add fuel stabilizer to the tank, most of the time not though. 10 gal is kind of a lot. Only $25 now, but I'd feel silly just giving it to the waste disposal plant when it would burn just fine.

If you see separation meaning water and gas. You could drain the water and you’ll be left with pure gasoline. Ethanol attracts moisture, water and gas don’t mix. This is what I do to my lawnmower. 5 gallons of gas to 32oz of water. Water draws out the ethanol but separates from the gas. It’s best to find a container that drains from the bottom. Makes it a lot easier to drain the water...sorry got a little off topic.
