You park facing towards the Costco in Sun Prairie. This angle has you parking parallel to it.

Finally got the truck in at Eastside Toyota in Madison for my warranty concerns. Rick & the service team were great to work with. I will be going there from now on. Worlds better than the service dept staff at Smart.

I have heard nothing but great things from Smart Toyota on the west side, and have had a couple good experiences with them and my first gen. However I bought my 2017 from East Toyota from Steve and he was great. Steve Schmaling now works at Lexus of Madison. I wasn't a fan of any of the other sales people at East, very pushy. Steve wasn't there to sell me on the Tacoma. He was there to provide answers, and let me make a decision. Really appreciated that. The service team at East has been top notch for me as well.

To bad I missed out on the meet up in October, was super busy at work lots of OT. It paid off I ended upgrading my 2017 SR5 DCSB to a 2018 DCSB OR m/t a month ago.IMG_0210.HEIC.jpg

Looks like I haven't shared this on this thread, but anyone in the Madison area looking at toppers. I cannot recommend Line-X of Madison (Leer Dealer) enough. They worked with me to get a price I liked and I ended-up with exactly what I was after. Leer 180 coated in Line-X Premium. So strong I can stand on it. The topper will likely last longer than the rest of the truck....

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TWLOE2fdrwROJLWsZcle0b7zAMOkloHlEwGmXpz89tI/edit?usp=sharing

Here are the prices I was quoted from everyone in town. Leer, Lakeland, Century and ARE

Leer guys wanted to talk shop and figure out what I needed. They ended up sending me out the door with their catalog written up with prices for add-on (windoors vs sliders)

Lakeland I think just didn't have a lot to offer the 3rd gen when I was shopping so it didn't fit great.

Century was hard to get a hold of. I ended up contacting the regional manager and let them know that the madison office wasn't replying to quotes and inquires. They replied with, "Sorry." Not with what are your questions.

ARE dealer was a bit hit or miss. They were short staffed because they cleaned house after an ex-employee was found to have been stealing from customer cars. So good on them for making a change. They did have a lot of product in house to look at too. But it was cheaper to get a leer topper with a line-x coating than the ARE coated from factory. And the Line-X Premium is a much better product than whatever ARE is spraying and won't even warranty for longer than a year.

Got the SCS Ray10’s mounted with Falken Wildpeak’s yesterday. Now time to find a takeoff set of TRD Pro Fox’s. 25F82479-BB5A-4FA8-93B5-8BC0E9A4F5CE.jpg

I got 265/75/16’s. Not sold on them though. Second set & still struggling with steering wheel shimmy above 60 mph.

I have the same tire and have no problems. I know when I mounted mine they were a bit of a pain to balance. However they have been exceptionally in the snow we have gotten this winter and spring.

My Hankook ATM’s have been fantastic for the past 2.5 years (26,000 miles)... on and off road. I’ll be surprised if I don’t go with another set of these next time around.

After trying to decide what tire to get I talked to 2 people at work that have Hankooks. They are happy. So, that' my choice. Just have to order them. Clean garage. Weather permitting  two weeks put lift on.

I was able to get the TRD Pro suspension back in February. And also up front I got the 1/4 spacer from Headstrong. In the back I got Headstrong 3 leaf progressive pack.
