Had them in a full size truck I had. They are great if you go off-roading a lot in knarly places or roads littered with potholes. They always kept tires balanced but didn’t work until like 25 mph it would vibrate.

I've used them with 35"s. Worked great.

Run them in tires that change psi a lot or are just harder to balance like soft compound mud terrains over 35 inches. Or for bead lock wheels. I still prefer normal weights on stock or mild aftermarket wheels ie not bead locks. If your running bead locks they are a god send as balancing a bead lock wheel is pure hell.

They will also balance tire as it wears also. Unlike a one time balance with weights.

They can and will get into the valve and hold it open. Experience from 2 motorcycles and a Jeep Cherokee.

I looked into the system because some of my friends with over the road trucks run them and are very happy with it. The only thing that kept me from going with the system is that the manufacturer says they will not work with wide / low profile tires. That killed it for my 20's.

They make special valve cores to eliminate that they come with some bags of beads. The have a red piece of plastic on end of valve core to stop that from happening. Or, they do with high pressure valve cores. (Red rubber seal on valve core.)

    I recently started running 255/80r17.
After reading all the post about balance beads I decided to give them a try. I loaded each tire with 8oz each like I had seen recommend for that size. After installing the tires and running them at different speeds they are still not balanced.
I don't want to just throw my hands in the air and give up on them so I'm looking for advise from people who have them and like them.
