    So it begins, came across a 02 dcsb pre runner 3.4 for 3k on the interweb. It's kinda rough and kinda ugly but 1 owner and all service history. Plans are manual swap and 4x4, 4.88's. I like the idea of a sas but I'm not looking for that much lift. I'm looking to build more of a hunting rig than a crawler.

    Sounds like a good plan. If it's for hunting I'd keep the auto, its a lot easier to drive with boots on.

    True, I may just go that route. I just picked up t100 for parts and it's auto
