I’m in the process of derping my grill surround black today too. I’ll have to wait to get the badges done at a later time.

The instructions were pretty good but there were a few areas where some better pictures, clearer writing, or a slight change of process might have been better. Overall it wasn't terribly difficult (except for getting all the bolts in to hold the winch down), but there was some finger biting points - like cutting out the lower lip, you only get one chance to do it right.

DIY roof/canopy rack done today. Needs some tweaking, more cross members and trim finish but I'm mooving across the country soon so I need it.... I think it turned out pretty good and only for 120$. I stood on it in the middle and it barely mooved. I'm 180 too. IMG_20180421_145641417.jpg

Installed my Wet Okole seat covers!

Unbolted front and propped the seat up to give me room to work. No need to remove seats completely.

    Drivers side done...

Passenger side went quick. Ready for putting my wet okole on them after fishing!

This is perfect! Can I ask what all hardware you needed to make this work? I need one on each side maybe

Went with some Heeps and a T100 into the woods today. Ran some technical stuff that I was not expecting on a beginner trail. Flexed the bed to the max. Bed stiffeners may be in my future if I do this a lot! Barely fit the trail limo through the turns. I took the longest to make the first corner since it was a 90 between two trees on a cliff.

Put the first scar on the truck too, had to pull off the trail to let some jeeps pass the other way and drove into what I thought was a forgiving vine, and was actually a stiff branch...

Sure! I wasn't sure any of the right sized drawer slides in stock at the local hardware stores were strong enough to hold it with just one, so i ordered some heavier duty ones - these ones specifically but there's probably many options and maybe something out there that would work better:
    https://www.cabinetparts.com/p/knape-and-vogt-drawer-slides-side-mount-drawer-slides-KV880514
I painted mine but you don't have to.

To mount it, I used these T-nuts, which fit in the rails, and some 3/8-16 x 3/4" button head bolts to go with. That style head fit under the segments of the drawer slide. I had to drill out the mounting holes to accommodate these bolts.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009SWGLHW

There's a little bracket that attaches to the slide, i attached it to the ammo box with sheet metal screws, you can see them poking through in the pic, i'm gonna dremel them off. I needed to clear my tonneau cover rail with the box lid so i also made a spacer out of a pvc 1x2 and a few strips of rubber until it was far enough out, and because it was spaced out like that i also made a bumper of similar construction on the bottom of the box to keep it from leaning in, so it stays more or less vertical.
The bracket notches into the drawer slide and i just secured it with a bolt and nut.

The box itself is available a bunch of places on the internet, just search for 25mm ammo box / ammo can. I liked it because it jives with the black plastic of the bed, and it kinda looks like something from aliens. The box opens from two sides, i just rtv sealant-ed the bottom lid shut, and secured the handle for that side with a cotter pin. I painted the handle/latch for the top lid red just to mark it as the right one (my truck is red) and attached a hasp for a padlock, tho someone who really wanted to and had some tools could still unbolt the thing and steal it.

Like i said, it remains to be seen how this mount system holds up over time. I had this idea a while ago and was originally going to mount the box on a hinge, but then i realized that if i just put it on the rails i don't have to make any new holes.

    hope that helps!

I don't have any pics of the back of the box but if people want to see that, i could take some later.

Took advantage of a beautiful sunny day here and gave my girl a much needed bath! Also tried to make my own door pull covers! Lol I don’t want them to get dirty so I took some neoprene and sewed Velcro to it, added some red stitching to match he rest of my interior and viola! There she is! :D I think it looks ok what about you guys? :)1BBB132F-6B5E-4D7D-B77B-B869A1CD451D.jpg71017FC8-42F8-475A-9D84-7FA36F064662.jpg 99F8A3B6-3D60-440F-8987-DE5AE9B9A33C.jpg

The same shit everyone else has.
Are you running high than stock wattage fog lights?

I replaced my driver side fog light plug today, but I just got a new socket and pins. Mine was damaged/melted from an accident this past fall and was missed by the body shop.

Fortunately, this and the missing rubber bumper on the fender/hood edge are the only issues Ive found after the truck was fixed.
