IMG_0618.jpg IMG_0619.jpg IMG_0620.jpg IMG_0621.jpg IMG_0623.jpg IMG_0611.jpg Hey guys, the next Tacoma product is currently in the works and soon to be released!
These skids are cnc cut and formed from 1/4" 5052 aluminum, there are bulges around the diff and exhaust to maximize clearance. The full set will include an extremely strong subframe that bolts to the trans crossmember and to the rear crossmember, this allows the rear skid to attach to the new subframe and not to the frame rails. This will eliminate any interference with different types of slides. This also provides more coverage than other skid systems and runs all the way back to the carrier bearing. All bolts are counter sunk or have counter sunk washers. There are access holes for all major maintenance items as well as louvers for venting and cooling. Price point should be around $1000 for the full set with sub frame. I will be testing these out in Moab the beginning of next month and will finalize when i get home. Let me know if there is any interest or suggestions.
    Thanks!

Will you make a mid plate that's solid no bulge for people with exhaust reroute?

    Possibly.
The problem is the subframe may cause an issue with the route.
I could clearance the subframe but that would rely on all rerouted exahaust to be the same

What’s the weight Target for the complete set Ben? Are you going to sell individual pieces as well or only as one complete set?

    Looks like around 80lbs.
I will likely sell individual pieces however the cost will go up a bit on the individual pieces compared to the full set.

Damn I already bought a set of steel skids. These look sick though! Waiting on your 3rd Gen front bumper to be finalized so I can order.

I'd be interested in the Mid section plate. Will they be able to purchased individually? Looks like it will mate up to my existing steel skid. Any pics from inside? Are they ribbed?

I will hopefully finalize the design when I get back from Moab. Looks like production would likely start beginning of June

Sorry, no updates yet. Waiting on aluminum prices to settle down before starting production. Unfortunately aluminum has gone up a tremendous amount over the last couple months and is hard to get.
Hopefully it will settle down soon!
I have a lot of aluminum products that are on hold.

I really dig the design, and amazing craftsmanship.

Reminds me of the Savvy Offroad of the Tacoma world.

Count me in for the whole package when you sort out aluminum prices/fabrication process.
