2018-03-01 17.36.44.jpg 2018-02-23 14.38.17.jpg I ended up ordering the one from Amazon, then installing from there. Lots of great info here. Just like to say thanks. Which reminds me, I really need to autocad this print....I'll never remember my chicken scratch notes. Thanks again.

Side Note: I used trailer cable for my relay control from the switch panel inside. 6 wire I believe, 5 switches, didn't use the green/dotted wire. Pulled power from a tap at the towing accessory fuse (that way when the truck shuts off even if i leave the light switch on it shuts off as well....yes a tad OCD)

Read all this good info here i learned a lot. Been looking at a few options for this and i see other setup running 14 awg wire on 30 amp fuse and 16 awg wire on 20amp fuse. Wont this be a problem?

I wouldn't. If you're asking then I'm guessing you wouldn't either. For longer runs you should run heavier guage if you don't want voltage drop issues.

Congrats, will there be any electrolysis problem with that lead/Alu/lead connection?

That's some escalation. Is there a non-nuclear tactical response?

Not sure. It’s a temporary fix for now though.

Wish I had time to make my own. Had to purchasing the one below along with a buss bar (don’t know if it’s needed) and a breaker. I’m about ready for the install but realize I need a couple more cables. Any help on what to order?

    - positive cable to the breaker and battery(gauge and lug size)?

Awg 4 or bigger, you can get them pre assembled. Lug size depends on your battery mount bolt which is usually 5/16-3/8". Also check the lug size on the breaker, it might be 1/4"

Ill be ordering from here I think. From what I've learned and the Bussmann that I ordered, I will need a power cable from the breaker to the battery and 1 or 2 ground wires... I believe the Bussman ground will go to the bus bar then a cable from the bus bar to the frame or battery negative... The way the Bussmann is wired it looks like the negative wires and going back into the Bussmann.

The buss bar is to ground all accessories so the cable from it to the battery should be sized like the main positive one, 4awg or better unless you ground each one to the frame(some do this but not the op so not me either), in which case the cable from the battery to the frame would need an upgrade. Your bussman looks like the relays are individually grounded(fat black wires) and gathered into a common wire loom which also needs a ground connection(dont see how long it is or what the other end looks like). Another cable seems to be attached to the main positive lug and covered in heat shrink, that goes to the output side of your breaker.

    A thing or two...
Like the organization with the boxes. I still have a double-sided tackle box full of miscellaneous bits from all the labs in college. It works great except all the small resistors, diodes, and jumper pins/wires shift between bins when I flip it from one side to the other. I have other small boxes similar to what you're using for my fishing tackle and spare gun parts.
