I have a 2005 tacoma 4 cyl and its leaking oil right above the front of the oil pan on the right side. Does anyone know what this may be leaking from? Ive attacked a pic any help would be appreciated. I hoped it was coming from the oil pan but climbed under there and its leaking from above the oil pan.

If it's similar to the 1st gen taco 4 cylinder, where the oil filter mount bolts to the block there is an o ring that goes bad and leaks on the right side of the engine.

Is this a possibility for the 6 cylinder 1st Gen too? I have some leakage on the right side of the block as well

I couldn't say, I'm not that familiar with the 6 cylinder

Unusually valve gaskets leaks on the v6, the oil filter is on the drivers side on the v6
