Ahhh, didn't realize that. But so are they not still a large employer? Don't understand why their removal of a special discount program would effect that.

In the days of easily leaked, hacked information, the NRA is really firearms registration, a real good master list. There's really no value in the membership like a lot of gun owners think there is.

 

I did the same thing to REI for their stand on guns. Was an REI Club member for 16 years.
Told them to remove me off the mailing list and to close my member account which they did. Just means I will be giving more of my money to Cabela's now.

 

You don't think the NRA has influenced gun laws?

 

I would say the government knows who owns guns anyways. Are we really to belive that the background checks conducted prior to purchase dont make there way into a data base somewhere, yeah right.

That sounded great several years ago but now you have company after company basically aligning its self against the values of 60% of the country. I will continue to try and avoid giving my money to these organizations when I can.
