    Hello all,

I am a long time lurker at TW, so I decided to become a member.

I have been a Toyota driver for a long time.

My first car was a 1979 Honda Accord, it looked something like this:

    e366ceaf5dc938b7b28fea911c122d8a.jpg

Then after high school, I got a 1982 Honda Prelude, it looked something like this:

    -x551.jpg

Loved that car, it had a bit of pep, and a sunroof that did not leak, lol. I put house speakers in the backseat just to be "that annoying guy" at the stoplights lol.

Then I got my first Toyota truck. It was a 1993 Toyota Regular cab, 2WD, base model. Looked something like this:

    DSC0792011122012.jpg

Then, I got bit by the off-road bug, my friend had a 1994 Toyota 4x4 access cab in Mica Green. I really loved that color, but couldn't get the same color, because you know, that would be weird. It looked like this:

    truck1.jpg

Lots of great times 4x4'ing and camping, and trips in that thing. I drove it 110MPH once, on some random Nevada road. Only for about 30 seconds, or less. lol.

I sold that truck in 2006 and bought the 2nd gen Tacoma, Access Cab Prerunner, in Indigo Ink Blue.

Here is a pic of both old and new side by side the day I bought the new truck in 2006:

Today, that truck looks like this:

I have loved all of my Toyota trucks. In my current truck, I fully regret:

    - Not getting 4 wheel drive.
    - Not getting double-cab.

I could have used the 4 wheel drive several times in the time I have had the truck. I absolutely hate the access cab doors. When in a packed parking lot, I cant load or unload the truck very easily. It is just annoying.

Sooner than later, I am thinking of selling the truck and getting an updated Tacoma. I might wait for the 2019's, and see what, if any changes there might be.

As far as mods go, I have done the following:

    - Poor man's bed mat
    - Cali-Raised fog lights
    - Removed the front mud flaps (because they got in the way)

I think that is about it, as far as mods go. I am not sure if I will do any others at this point, since I am considering selling it soon.
