I searched and could not find and answer so here it goes. I’m planning to do an all around Bilstein 5100 lift for my Tacoma. For the rear lift I am planning to add an ICON AAL 1.5”. Would that give it more height over stock rear height? What is the current height for stock rear before AAL? Any before and after pictures of your 1.5” AAL would be greatly appreciated.

A 1.5" AAL will lift the rear end 1.5"
If you set your 5100s on the 2.5" highest setting it should make your truck pretty close to perfectly level. The ride will suffer at the 2.5" setting though, it's a lot of preload on the spring. For a better ride you should look into after market lift springs so you can keep the 5100s at the lowest setting.

Thank you for the great information. Say I get OME 884’s since the load is minimal since I don’t have a metal bumper or anything. would I need to preload the front shocks if I’m looking for at least 1.5” of lift for the front? According to the chart 884’s will give me 1.25 of lift for the front.

I’m also considering 885’s which will give me 1.75” I have A ‘17 TRD OR

From what I’ve been researching I can set the front Billies at 0” notch if I’m using ome springs

Correct. I would go with the 885's to lift the front more. It should level it out with the 1.5" AAL.

So I just did the exact same set up on my 2017 OR. I did 885's with the OME 90021 shocks up front and the Icon AAL in the rear it sits perfectly level with this set up. The AAL did make the ride a little more stiff in the rear in my opinion. Otherwise it is a perfect setup if you are looking for a mild lift.

Perfect!! I’m looking to do the same set up except with Billies 5100 f/r with Icon 887’s or 888’s. Did your front settle with time? Alsoay you post a picture of your rear? I’d like to see how the AAL looks. I have 265/75/16 and I don’t wajt my truck to look like it skipped leg day lol!
