Used Optimum No Rinse Wash for years especially when I was stationed in Missouri! During the winter months I used hot water and always kept my vehicles clean and everyone wonder how! Then everyone jumped on board after that. I now use their Optimum No Rinse Wash with wax. Keeps the shine on vehicles going for bit after doing a full wax job.

 

Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash is a great one. Has multi uses as a wash, clay lube and detail spray. Mix up 3oz to a gallon of distilled water as a detail spray which you can also use to spritz on your drying towels to make them glide over the paint easier. A great rinseless method (though I still spray the truck down with hose or sprayer at a coin op) is to mix up the 1oz of Uber to 3 gallons of water. Throw 8-10 or more high quality microfibers like an eagle edgeless (the rag company) into that solution. Pull a towel out of the solution, ring out, fold into fours and proceed to make one pass per side of the towel starting at the top of the truck and continue down. If you have quality towels you should be able to get 8 sides out of each towel. Discard your dirty towels into another container to be washed, that way your first bucket solution should still be clean after removing the last towel. Here is where you can use a less fancy towels to wipe down the wheels.

Work one panel at a time and use a high quality drying towel to dry each panel down before you proceed to the next. Use the Uber in it's detail spray form to assist in buffing off and drying each panel. If you can't do the rinse down ahead of time then definitely spray down with the Uber at least.

Uber is super slick and your paint will feel nice and slick after you've wiped down.

 

Same boat as many of you when it comes to Optimum No Rinse. Been using it for years in the two-bucket method and as well as a detail spray and clay-lube. I also use it for many other things ( cleaning windows, wiping down plastics inside the vehicle etc).

Although we don't get winters like the rest of the country, on cold days I just use hot water so my hands don't get cold so quickly.

I find that using the ONR with wax tends to flash rather quickly in the summer heat here in Texas so I rarely use it when its hot out. Overall ONR is great stuff.

 

I love this stuff. If my vehicles are not heavily dirty I just use the ONR and then follow up with either a detail spray or spray on wax. My vehicles are all silver so keeping them looking clean is easy.

 

Never used a waterless wash yet but if I was going to try a product, based on all my research I would try ONR.

I came looking on here after I watched this video a few hours ago. Has anyone tried it?

 

I will be receiving everything today and I will test it out on my truck this weekend. Will either take photos or shoot a quick video.

May do a panel or two on my wife’s RAV4 as her truck is black and has not been washed for a few weeks where my truck just got washed this past weekend and usually get washed once a week.

Sweet! I’ll check out his other videos. The one I saw looked good but I wasn’t sure how much was really good marketing haha. It seems like the perfect setup for me living in an apartment.

 

Winter Is Coming!!!

 

Finally got a chance to use the system this weekend, unfortunately I was rushed so no video’s or photos from this wash.

The system is supper easy to use. Due to the level of pollen on my truck I rinsed off the truck first then used Ammo Frothe to wash the truck followed by Ammo Hydrate.

Zero scratching and the paint was super slick when I was done.

Based on the amount of product I used I should get 30 washes out of one bottle of Ammo Frothe.

 

I use aircraft wash and wax on mine. It's good for plastic, glass, paint, whatever. There's also a degreasing version.

I've found it works pretty good in direct sunlight when other brands would be a waste of time.




I gave it a thorough wash before I started using this and now I just hit it once a week or so for the same shine.

 

I might have to get some!
