So, before I drop $500 on seat covers...

Got a 5 yo kid, 11 mo old German Shepherd, and 12yo lab.

Let’s face it, the kid and German will be with me everywhere. And yes, I’m used to dog hair.

That being said, some fabric is really hard to get dog hair off.

Love leather, but for big dogs, not sure.

Love the WO seats, but do they get clogged up with dog hair?

I’m not a true fan of the more rugged canvas as they don’t look very snug or comfy. By the pics, for $200 a row, they look like a cheaper universal that shifts on ya.

I don’t want to be that picky guy, but advice?
    I’ve got a blue ‘17 Sport DC.

Yeah I have a Golden Retriever and she sheds like crazy. My wet okole's are awesome, vacuum them every other dog outing and you are good to go. Mine are the black on black and they do really well.

I’ve got four dogs. 3 of them are long hairs, one has short hair. I’ve got WO seat covers in my Sprinter Van and had them on my ‘08 Taco (will soon have the same on my ‘18 Taco). The long hair vacuums or wipes off pretty easily with a damp cloth. The short hair is a little more stubborn.

I’m probably more extreme than most but my dogs get crazy when they get in the taco because they know they’re going on a trip or hiking.

Get a set of neoprene or canvas seat covers - they’ll be more forgiving to dog nails than leather. I have Carhartts but Wet Okole or other similar brands should do. I also bought a dog hammock for the back for extra protection and to gather hair/dust. Dog seat belts are great and you can find some on Amazon that latch onto the child seat bars instead of clipping into the seat belt clamps.

I went even further and got door covers to prevent scratches. I have window tint but was able to install them between the window sill and door piece.

I’m out right now but I can post links to everything I used.

Have you considered a cat? You can leave them at home and deal with dust bunnies with a Dyson and not worry about the seats.

I also have a dog hammock for my goldens, works great but as the guy above me posted when my dogs get in taco they go crazy because they know we are going out. I just ordered a topper so they have more room and hair stays out of cab. Now my wife says she is riding in the back with the dogs lol i cant win.

I have a golden and just live with the shedding. I rarely vacuum, but on dry days will open all windows while going down the freeway. Most loose hair goes flying out.

But it's just too cool to have a dog riding in the truck no matter how bad it makes your truck look or smell. They're just like family.

I have 2 goldens. I bought the Amazon basics cover for like $20. works fairly well. Vacuuming and frequent trips with windows down tends to clear it out pretty well.

Got a yellow lab and a GSP. The Lab's hair would always get stuck in my neoprene seat covers. Tried lint rollers and vacuuming and still couldn't get all the hair out without picking each one out individually. After 3 months I sold the covers and got Clazzios. They never have hair sticking to it and have been holding up great to the wear and tear fit over a year now

I solved this problem by being allergic to dogs.

I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’ll never be able to keep my truck free of dog hair. I have a GSD and he sheds like crazy.

I call it the permanent dog hair mod.

I have a GS too. Get a Furminator brush to reduce hair, they are amazing. I have Wet Oks in the truck, they grab hair like velcro. Put a Kurgo in the car, not as pretty as WO, but they work for a fraction of the cost.

That’s too funny. I do the same, on the freeway, open the windows and watch em go out. Amazing they don’t stick up top.

I use a similar product that has zip up “panels” on the sides. Meadowlark. It helps protect the door panels from scratches.

This little bad boy takes care of the rest. Powerful and last some on a full charge. It comes with a set of tubes also, with bristles at the end.
