Should I do the header install at jambo? I could let everyone who wants drive my truck with the stock headers, then do the install and let everyone drive it again and feel the difference. I have read it is significant change.

 

Still only 4 cylinders, if they want to experience power like that I'll let them test drive the Camry.

More practically headers are not something you want to change in a place you have to drive away from. When you snap a rusted bolt at home it's annoying, at Barnwell you should probably just burn your truck.

 

Or yank out the entire engine and bring a diesel back and swap it in

 

I'm pretty sure that exceeds the limits of what the Jambo team will allow

No thank you. I'm done with patches I think, except maybe destination stuff when I travel.

 

I use them for my puddle lights when i open my doors. Also installed them in the bed of my truck.

Now with that being said you will need some long strips of LEDs to light up the ground. I have about 3' strips running down each side of my frame and its a good amount but its not as bright as a decent set of rock lights by any means.

i used clear silicone adhesive, its been holding strong for about 6 months now. But im sure gorilla glue will work WAY better. Just not as easy to remove and clean up.

Bro i think you will not be happy with any type of tape. Just get a bucket of soapy water and a clean rag, clean where you are going to attach the LED strips, glue, step back and drink a beer about it.

Ok I'll glue. As far as amount I'm planning on around 45"+ under the sides of the cab, 12" in each wheel well and 12-20"+ front and back if I can find a good way to mount it up front. Have you seen trekkers? He used about 16ft total and it looks and works great! When we went to HF's and I saw them I was sold, they put out plenty of light.

 

I wont buy but might have something I could trade for the PPv10.

I have a decent amount available for trade but dont have it all near by to get pics. I need to figure out what I dont have up on the headliner yet. In the next day or 2 I'll post them up or we could meet up and I can show you what I have this weekend sometime. I'll leave my extra ARv4 and PP Eyes out. If theres anything particular your looking for from trailtoys theres a chance I have it. Might even be willing to give up something off my headliner but if its not a duplicate it'll be harder.

 

I ain't no bitch, but this truck is trying to defeat me so close to jambo. My y pipe showed up today and that's supposed to be an easy job when your header studs don't break off, but of course mine did.

After fighting it a while I got it all back together with no exhaust leaks (thank God). Just gotta mount the cross member and skids for the last time and fix my CB next week and the truck will be mostly ready.

 

i should probably clean my engine air filter. I have a K&N so i need to find the cleaning solution.

 

Did you reploace the header studs or just install with some missing? Atleast its back together and ready almost ready for Jambo!
