I’m bringing oil, coolant, diff/tcase, and a bit of tranny fluid.

Bottle of each maybe. Just in case I rip a line or something.

Given the trans is sealed you wouldn't be able to tell how much you need though.

Gear oil and coolant are good though. But you need spare hoses then too, if you need coolant you need to stop the leak.

I’m more concerned if a line breaks. I carry a bit of hose and would try to splice shit back together. Good to check hoses before.

I may for instance change my serpentine belt prior to going. Old one has 200k so good to switch it up.

For the tranny you have to fill it like the diffs. Pour until a bit comes out. At a certain temp mind you.

They are actually full pants, not chaps.

They meet the safety requirements for P.P.E 1-1997 Leg protection

So after inspecting my 'perfect nick' chainsaw, I see it has a replacement bar on it that is 2" shorter than spec. Websites seem to say the blade is now obsolete and no longer can be provided by manufacturer. That is why it has this shorter bar.

Good thing there is a box of the stock 18" ones at work on the shelf I had my hands in today. :cookiemonster:

Service tech told me to bring it in and he will give it the once over to ensure its brand new again. He is going to rag on me for the 16" bar

    Princess auto special today.
Everything to wire up the fridge.

And jumper cables when my battery dies.

And actually did some offroading/trying to jump in a subdivision being built, the multimatic shocks still impress me.

Looks like the fridge fits pretty good

I modified a bunch of 5/8 carriage bolts so I can have Male, or Female rail mounting options. I have 12 of the T-nuts that go in the rail. Sometimes you want beefier like 5/8 carriage bolt to mount something to.

    how well do they hold?
thats actually a really good idea. I was just using weld nuts on end of a bolt but a carriage bolt would probably work better.

I have had my axe and shovel mounted with them since I put them in, they hold perfect. :cookiemonster:

I made my 1st ones on a bench grinder, it was not easy to do.

This time I used an angle grinder + vise and it was super easy.

Having access to all this stuff now has enabled me to actually do shit I have had on my list for so long. All the tools just waiting to be used instead of me having to buy them lol.

Tested out my fridge set up to make sure it can cool consistently. Worked over night kept itself between 3.5° and 6°. Cooled itself from 22° to 3.5° in 3 hours. Not bad for a $40 investment.

Me too. I'm planning on wrapping the outside of the cooler with a layer of 1 1/2 rigid foam. Sealed with Tuck tape. I'm thinking of running it outside in the sun tomorrow. It'll be 24° out. Should be a good test.
