MARCHWAY Floating Waterproof Dry Bag 5L/10L/20L/30L, Roll Top Dry Sack for Kayaking, Rafting, Boating, Swimming, Camping, Hiking, Beach, Fishing, Skiing, Snowboarding (Deep Orange, 20L) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071H948C7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1Q55AbQCZFW52

Saw these in orange. Kinda match but I think I need 30L option. They only have 10-20L. I have carabiners and Velcro straps to attach.

Yea. My backpacking sleeping bags are all stored in the loose bag. I was just curious how many people just leave the sleeping bag in the RTT. I will most likely open it and take it out tonight or tomorrow.

I tried doing that with mine but it made it too difficult to close the tent enough to pack it away completely. My fiancé and I use a double sleeping back though so maybe that's why.

I do leave the blanket that we put down underneath in there, though.

I use a 25ft steel cable wrapped around all 4 sides of the tent and through my bed rack and spare tire underneath the rack, with a padlock connecting both ends of the cable together. It works and comes off easily once I unlock it. If anyone wanted to steal my tent, they'd have unbolt my bed rack and take it with the spare tire with them...would be a huge pain in the ass, lol.

You can kind of see it in this photo...

No system is 100% secure but I feel good about it. I don't live in a terrible neighborhood, but it is Los Angeles and we do hear about car break-ins every once in awhile on the neighborhood FB page. I'd rather have some kind of deterrent than nothing at all.

Great idea! I’m in Los Angeles too, and even less sketchy areas I’m weary of.

@eon_blue that's an amazing idea! I'll wrap the cable through some of the expensive supplies in the bed too.

But if I leave my tools in the bed and not mounted to the bed rail, how will people on instagram know that I'm better at camping than they are?
