Fab shop on Bishops Ln....Don't remember the name but I can find out. They did one for a friend. If this wasn't my busy season I'd tackle it.

    Where you at in Louisville?

Cool! I'm in Mt. Washington...just off Bardstown Rd.

I'll find the name of the shop on Bishops Ln.

Yeah I still need to get mine done. Just went to larger tires and am rubbing pretty badly on the passenger side now. Let me know what you find out. Id like to get it done sooner rather than later. Im in Louisville as well.

Anyone have recommendations on places to have a lift installed in Louisville? Went to one place and they were less than knowledgeable about Tacoma’s.

They are quoting 10hrs for suspension plus an additional 2hrs for alignment. Seems a bit excessive, could be wrong though.

That was also not the place I was implying being less than knowledgeable.

It takes us 10 man hours to do front coil overs, upper control arms, and replacing the rear leaf pack and shocks. But we typically put two guys on it that way it is in and out in 5 hours. Alignment we subcontract to the mechanic down the street and he does them in one hour

You could always not take it to a shop that may have never touched a Tacoma in this way, and let strangers from the internet help you in return for beer. And you learn a little along the way.

Just a few years back, I was doing lift installs for others....

Then I got old. Tough to spend 6 or 8 hours crawling around on the driveway now. Last one I did damn near crippled me.

I did em for $400 to $600. Depending on what all was included.
